Welcome to Switzerland

Switzerland is Europe in miniature. Only 220 km from north to south and 348km east to west, it has nearly 100 spectacular mountains, many huge glaciers, lakes and rivers, rolling meadows, forests, beautiful fertile valleys, ancients cities, towns and villages all lovingly preserved, possibly the best integrated transport system in the world, and a climate that ranges from alpine to sub-tropical. LucerneLucerne – one of the loveliest cities in Switzerland – is the storybook image of a Swiss town, abounding in cobblestoned streets, spires and turrets, covered bridges, frescoed houses and fountains. A visit to Mt. Titlis or Mt. Pilatus is also highly recommended.

Montreux – the ‘Pearl of the Swiss Riviera’ – is situated on the shores of Lake Geneva. Montreux has casinos, hosts rock and jazz festivals and is a modern, up-tempo holiday resort. A visit to the Chateau de Chillon or an excursion to Rochers de Naye by scenic cogwheel train is a must!

St MoritzSt. Moritz – located on the shores of the pristine waters of the Inn River – is the jewel of the Engadine Valley. A perfect blend of unspoiled natural terrain, exhilarating walks and a host of cultural events, with 322 days of sunshine annually, St. Moritz in summer is carefree, sophisticated and dynamic.

ZermattZermatt lies at the foot of the Matterhorn. The town’s touristic development is closely linked to what is most probably the world’s most famous mountain. This vacation destination is a car-free zone, has preserved its original character and offers nearly unlimited possibilities as far as excursions are concerned.
