More About the Role

Part Time start – to Full Time position after 3 months

Holidays On Location is a travel company with 39-years experience in the industry and an established reputation for delivering quality tourism products for Europe, UK, North America and Canada to the Travel Industry for individuals, affinity and educational groups.

We're on the hunt for a motivated person who has the ability to work independently within a small team to deliver set targets.

As a team member of reservations you will work closely with all departments in Holidays On Location.  Your communication skills need to be amongst your top personal assets.

The successful applicant must have an academic or working towards one in Travel and Tourism.  Travel Industry experience, in retail or wholesale services, is preferred but not essential.

Immediate start for the right candidate on a part time basis and after a 3 month qualifying period full time pending review and by mutual agreement.

Skills required

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access) 
  • Strict eye for detail
  • Good oral and written English language skills

  • Ability to take ownership and be responsible for allocated tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment 
  • Customer service and handling skills

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities · Product data management – update of the same to office data base.
  • Rail travel management, global ticket and seat reservation procedures. ·
  • Invoicing and documentation procedures, generating of applicable documentation as required on products sold.
  • Customer services support, investigation and analysis of on-service provider delivery and communication breakdowns.
  • Ensure all customer service requirements are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • On-Line direct client information and service requests.
