General Rental
Condition
- The driver has to be in possession of a valid driving
licence for at least 1 year.
Age Restrictions
- Minimum age in Hungary is 21 and the driver has to
be in possession of a valid driving licence for at
least 1 year.
Conditions
of Payment
- We accept all credit cards from internationally recognised
credit card companies - such as American Express, Diners
Club, Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa.
- Cash Payment is not accepted.
- Sixt CarExpress Servicecard is only accepted in combination
with a valid Credit Card.
General
Insurance Conditions
- Third Party Insurance (TI)
Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented
includes Third Party Liability with unlimited cover
for personal injuries and material damages.
Excluded from the insurance is the use of the vehicle for the transport of
dangerous goods. All insurance cover as part of the rental contract will become
void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the
driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver´s licence
at the time of the event giving rise to claim.
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Collision Damage Waiver removes the drivers
responsibility to a part of the vehicle in case of
damage.
The cost of CDW is as follows: see table
If CDW is not accepted the customer will be held liable for the full value
of the car.
If CDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts:
- ECMN, ECMR, CDMR, CLMR, CWMR, IDMR, IDAR: EUR 428,-
- SDMR, LDMR, SVMR, FDMR, PDAR, IXMR, PFMR: EUR 856,-.
In case of total damage the customer is responsible for 10% of the value of
a new car.
- Theft Protection (TP)
Theft Protection removes the drivers responsibility
to a part of the vehicle in case of theft.
The cost of TP is as follows: see table
If TP is not accepted the customer will be held liable for the full value of
the car.
If TP is accepted, customer is only responsible for 10% of the value of a new
car.
- Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
Personal Accident Insurance provides cover
against the consequences of an accident.
The cost of PAI is as follows: see table.

Delivery & Collection
- Standard corporate charge, if no special fee is agreed

- In addition out of hours charges will apply.
One Way Rentals
- National
One-Way Rentals within Sixt locations in Hungary
are free of charge.
- International

Out of Hours
- A surcharge of EUR 18.75 per hour started applies
for all bookings/rentals out of hours.
(Out Of Hours = ES).
Cross Border
Rentals & Territorial Restrictions
- Cross Border Rentals are allowed for all
car groups except PWMR and LDAR to the following
countries:
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Czechia, Croatia, Denmark,
Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein,
Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal,
San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
- In case of offence against Cross Border & Territorial
Restrictions all insurances lose their validity.
Service Fee/Premium
Location Fee
- A Service Fee 12% on the basis rental rate (T&M)
occurs for rentals at airport stations.

- VAT
All rates are inclusive of 25% VAT.
Extras
- Additional Driver
No fees for additional driver.
- Refuelling Charge
All vehilces are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior
to return to Sixt, otherwise our current refuelling charges will apply.
